In this work, the focus shifts to the northern mountains that tower over a tranquil coastal village. A distinctive, sand-grained texture gives the canvas a material dimension reminiscent of the barren volcanic beaches of Iceland.
The deep blue water is the heart of the work and a mirror of the sky. It is an exploration of the solitude and magnificent beauty of the Icelandic landscape, where small homes take their place.
